Mission

OverBoarder has been created in order to help student-athletes obtain a scholarship in an American university.

OverBoarder is in charge of all the research and application processes and stays in touch with the student during his/her entire stay in the U.S.A.

Each member of the OverBoarder staff studied at an American university, whether it is at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level. We all had a very enriching academic and athletic experience. We can therefore explain and guide through each step with an insider’s point of view.

American universities have a large amount of money set aside for scholarships. Their sports’ facilities are very different from what we know in Europe. For example, it is not rare to see football stadiums with a capacity of over 100,000 seats or indoor arenas that hold over 40,000 seats. Sports in the US are an institution, and the athletes are the heroes on campus.

Many of the most famous athletes of all times were recruited by professional leagues while playing at a university level: Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Michael Johnson, John McEnroe, Jesse Owens, and the Bryan brothers among others..
